My body feels great today! The bending down motion that was hard and painful yesterday isn’t bad today! Thanks for the healing remedies. I took about a half a dropper [50 mg of CBDistillery Broad Spectrum CBD oil]. — Jaclyn, educator at Red Willow Center (Taos, New Mexico)

LEARNING ABOUT CBD
Cannabidiol (CBD) is known for its therapeutic benefits for supporting balance in our bodies. Unlike THC, CBD does not give euphoric effect, meaning it won’t give you a feeling of “being high”.
CBD may support the following health outcomes:
Unlike other medications or drugs, CBD is non-addictive, and you can't overdose from it —but like any medicine, it’s important to find the right usage and dosage that is personalized to each participant’s needs and well-being.

TRACKING YOUR CBD USE
Everybody is a little different, and that’s why it’s important to help participants learn about proper dosage, how to assess their current health baselines, and how to track the use and health outcomes of using CBD.
The recommended serving of CBD is 30-60 mg daily*. CBDistillery 3,000 mg bottles have 100mg per dropper, therefore one full dropper is considered a very high dosage. It is recommended to start with a small amount, 5-10 mg of CBD, wait 3-4 hours, then increase as necessary to achieve desired effects (without exceeding 100 mg—1 dropper—per day).
Saint Francis Challenge developed “My CBD Tracker” for your participants to assess and monitor their CBD usage and health outcomes, which you can access online and/or download as a PDF.
By tracking the results of your CBD use, you will get to see what works for you and what doesn't. Here are the things we recommend you track for at least 30 days straight (it may take more days for some people to come to some conclusions, but that’s totally fine!) when taking your CBD:
Please advise participants to consult their health care professional before altering any of their current medications, and to get additional medical support if they are reporting untreated pain, inflammation, anxiety, nausea, sleep issues, etc.
*Although CBD is safe to use, there is still research that needs to be done that provides insight into what the FDA says on dosing, benefits, and even side effects.

- Did you reduce, discontinue, or add additional medications to deal with your symptoms?
